J.R. Distribution started with something simple which is the belief that even small moments matter. I began this journey with just a few vending machines back in college and a simple goal: to bring convenience and care for the people and businesses in my community in Utah.
Each machine we place isn’t just a box that holds snacks or drinks but about something bigger. Its about trust, reliability and a personal touch which is often hard in a self serve service. And that’s why we believe in “Every Vend Counts”.
This idea was also built on the idea of my curious black cat “Botas” and the quiet heart of this brand. She represents what I want J.R. Distribution to be: loyal, observant, and always there when you need a small pick-me-up. She is what inspired our logo (The Cat and Machine) = Happy Machine
Together, we’re more than just a vending business. We’re a reminder that kindness and care can be part of everyday life — whether it’s a snack or a drink from a machine that hopefully makes you smile.

We are a small, family-run business built on simple values — care, community, and consistency. My wife, Elana, and I work together to bring snacks, drinks, and a little joy to local businesses across Utah.
What started with a single vending machine has grown into a mission to make convenience personal again. We take pride in making sure every location we serve feels supported — not just stocked. From the moment we refill a machine to the way we greet our customers, we want every interaction to feel like it matters.
Of course, we can’t forget Botas, our black cat and official mascot. She’s the quiet spirit behind our logo and a reminder to stay curious, kind, and always ready to share small moments of happiness (and naps).
